A must-see movie for this year that teaches valuable moral lessons about courage, friendship, and relationship to the family. Watch out for Ferdinand (film), an animated 3D Film based on The Story of Ferdinand by Munro Leaf and Robert Lawson. It features the voices of John Cena, Kate McKinnon, Anthony Anderson, Bobby Cannavale, Peyton Manning, Gina Rodriguez, Miguel Ángel Silvestre, and David Tennant.
In Spain, a young, flower lover and non-confrontational bull run away from their training area Casa del Toro after his father failed to return from a showdown with the matador. He was adopted by a florist's farm owner Juan, his daughter Nina and his dog Paco. Ferdinand shares a bond with his newly found family. As he grows up, his love to flower and his non-confrontational behavior remains.
Ferdinand's life is happy while he was with them. One day, his peaceful life change when the authorities bring him back to Casa del Toro. Going back to his former home is miserable. He was chosen by El Primero, the undefeated and popular bullfighter to square off against him. Ferdinand tries to escape with help from Lupe (goat) and the three hedgehogs (Uno, Dos, and Cuatro) but realized that whatever happens, a bull will still be slain by a matador even after being chosen to fight. He then fights with El Primero and makes a history as the first bull alive after the bullfight. After Ferdinand's fight, he returns home with Juan, Paco, and Nina together with his fellow bulls and other friends on the farm.
